/vr/ - Retro Games

I just dug my softmodded Wii out again because of this thread only to realize that the shitty old hdd I used to use with it seems to have died.

So it looks like I'm going to need to set things up again. Can someone point me in the direction of a good comprehensive source for the best emulators / loaders / etc and how to set them up... It's been ages since I softmodded my Wii and all that stuff has basically flown out of my memory.

Also, would a 128gb memory card be a viable option as a replacement for my external hdd? It's certainly sleeker to have everything just sitting on a single sd card.. but does the wii even read those sdxc cards? Also can it read micro sdxc cards in an sd card adapter? (for some reason they're cheaper..
