Nothing as forward-thinking and varied as KidPix. IIRC KidPix was localized for J-PCs early on, so maybe there just wasn't incentive (or developers skilled enough and willing) to outdo what already worked.

Degica, let alone Artdink, never sends C&Ds. There was a mostly-full fan translation of A-Train 9 V3.0 a while back, based on the German/Japanese releases, which most fans use at the moment (assuming they aren't playing V4.0 on Steam with a scant few extra trains). I don't think Degica's Artdink team, if there even is one, is likely to integrate Helly/Elegnaim/MrRichard's work into the releases themselves. That's more likely Artidnk's call to make.

I suspect these games' style of dithering and resolution means, if you do a half-assed collection of PC-98 games for TV/large monitor display in full-screen, most games would look beyond awful. Compile really should have done a compilation of their unique Disc Station games, but they ballooned into bankruptcy instead moving off of PC and shutting down Disc Station in order to make a console release viable.

Coolest thing about Xanadu is that even the Revival versions are in English. I'll probably try both originals and the remakes at some point.

So remember how Yoshio Kiya plagiarized his Xanadu shop-keeper graphics from the Ultima III manual? Revival Xanadu fixed all that with brand new, awesome visuals for the major shops.
