My experience with portable emulation has been

>old htpcs
Nice and you can easily use modern emulators, but the performance is shit on anything above psx and you have to find one with decent keyboard/controls, which is hard

>psp
Good for modding and installing cfw. Screen is bad (every model, for different reasons) and the emulation is rather weak. Strong point is psx, but it lacks l2/r2. Snes emulation is shit, n64 is impossible, gba is lacking

>pandora
Weak in 2020, but has nice controls

>chink shit
Hit or miss, the rg350/m is the best and runs everything up to psx fine. Now runs mario 64 too. Older chinkshits like the rs97 (pictured in white) is fine for a kid, because it is very limited.

>nds
Has issues, but is good for nintendo consoles

>odroid console
>very good at emulation, but not ergonomic and lacks l2/r2 and other inputs

>vita
Best screen, but same issues as psp emulating stuff that's not psx

>android
Powerful, but the control options are shit because of all the input lag using bluetooth controls. Perfect for slow games, useless for fighter games or fast twitch.
