Just pirate the cash-in. The scene release (RELOADED) comes with a crack that keeps it from dialing home. It's worth pirating simply for the fact that you're not locked-in at 640x480 16-bit resolution.

The music is still shit, but there's a mod out there to simply replace it with the psx music.
