I used to stick with the keyboard only layout for the longest time only because I hated how forward and back movement were always tied to up and down on the mouse. Could never find a way to disable it so I'd just stick with the tried and true arrow key method. I always wonder if there was a way to disable that in a lot of games back then and I was just too fucking stupid to figure it out.

Thank you for your advice, I really appreciate it. Seems like 1.3 will work for me. What I don't quite understand is why there are so many versions of the same WAD uploaded to the site- I mean, I know anyone can upload files, and maybe people upload files after they make their own small modifications- but it seems like some of these files don't work at all in online play. Do people just upload them for convenient download later? Or is it that they do work, but only in certain combinations?

What is a good laptop for emulating games as new as ps1 games? I plan on selling ((muh gaming pc)). I have been looking around on amazon/ebay. I really want to get a thinkpad t430 but i dont know if it is really a good idea for emulating. Suggestions would be appreciated.

Man, I remember hearing stories from other kids at school about how their mom/dad threw out whatever thing they were collecting/just got. There were only a couple instances where my mom was going to get rid of some stuff of ours, and she would always preface it with "I'm gonna have a garage sale, do you want to get rid of [thing]?" Never a single game, comic, card, anything was gotten rid of if someone laid claim to it.

Eventually, a lot of it got handed down to the next generation of kids if nobody cared anymore. Nothing like getting to teach a kid to play Atari.

anybody have any good wads for doom 1 or 2? i'm looking for a new experience.
