/vr/ - Retro Games

This is not bait but growing up I only played N64 multiplayer games + Mario 64.
Is Ocarina of Time really that fucking great? I never played zelda games until last year when I played A Link To The Past (6/10 found it boring halfway through).
If it's really a masterpiece I will dedicate 2-3 days off to playing it nonstop. But I want to know if the hype is real - it's not 1998 anymore (so I've played games that probably borrow elements from OoT) and I'm not a 12yo kid. Will it still be a 10/10 experience playing it for the first time as a 26yo? The game is so highly revered that I've avoided starting it until I have ample time to dedicate to it since I normally game in short sessions.
