In real life this is not the case. Ever.
Find another CRT or find where the "demodulator" exposes bare composite.

It'll still be shit if it's old enough/bad enough to only have RF, so unless it looks sexy as fuck (wood grain) I'd pass.

Because I have a PSX, but not a PS2, and I have a PS2 component cable.
And SCART cables are fucking stupid and expensive.

IDK, maybe because the entire raster slides left and right when the screen changes intensity with composite video sync.
Also *I don't have a combo cable, I have a normal component cable.* No money spent (already had all the components in by toolbox) is less than some money spent. And I'd rather not waste money on gas/shipping.
