Many of the old video games were a product of their time and really shouldn't have an HD remake . They should be appreciated the way they were made instead. That being said I do know one remake that was well done and that was the Wonderboy The Dragon's Trap remake. It was updated with hand drawn style graphics but also had a toggle to switch between the new graphics and the old *bit ones.
