/vr/ - Retro Games

Been playing through this bad boy for the first time ever. It's really as good as they say. And dang pretty for an N64 game.

It's nice to see I'm not the only person who's played this. While I do agree it's fun to play for the first 3 levels, it does get really difficult once you get to those sky base levels. As far as comfortable games go, I'm sticking with Jak & Daxter, or Banjo-Kazooie.

super mario 1-3 and yoshi's adventure (which is hella fun)
Any GTA games on the playstation 1 and 2 (since this is VR)

pokemon crystal, zelda oracle of time/seasons

Are there any other good exploration and collection games?

Basically any games where you have to journey and look into every nook and cranny to find a bunch of useless knick-knacks.

I can't seem to get into Banjo Kazooie, it seems too slow paced and I'm not to fond of the collect-a-ton aspect, I'm not saying is a bad game, but maybe it's not for me.

13 jigsaws left, can't be bothered to find them. This is just too much collectan for me, at least DK64 let me get away with doing almost nothing to win
