Do you have pics of said ghosting? I'm wondering if you mean the thin horizontal wires that hold a trinitron "mask" into place. Trinitrons have a few horizontal wires that you can see if you look closely on pure white.

I agree with the sentiment, but they are good devices. You pay a premium but I guess it's up to each individual what they want to spend. I think >>4533301 is a pretty good summary.

I bought 13" BVM for about $115 shipped and I think it's worth it. It has an amazing picture. I have a Sharp 27U F510and the colors on that Sharp are freaking amazing. My 20" PVM looks great, but the colors aren't as good as the sharp. The 13" BVM, while smaller has the really good colors like the Sharp but is also a lot crisper. I guess what I'm getting at is, pvm/bvm are nice but there is honestly nothing wrong with a good consumer set.

Also, this will be my last tripfagging. I'm going back to being an anon. I didn't do it for ego so it really is pointless. I did it to be somewhat accountable and not troll as much. I'll just not troll as much now even as anon.
