I used to find BG2 very hard. But coming back to it, I killed the shadow lich first try, shadow dragon first try, ran through D'arniese with ease, did the unseeing eye quest FIRST and it was easy.

What should I do to make this game fun again?

Solo playthrough no party members?
Or evil party no reloads.
