>Retro gaming means consoles, computer games, arcade games (including pinball) and any other forms of video games on platforms launched in 1999 and earlier. With the release of the 8th

These are the rules. This sentence is one statement, meant to be read as one statement not taken apart. It is very clear and simple that PC games follow the same rules as other games. Claiming otherwise is a mark of illiteracy or blatant purposeful trolling.

I strongly suspect the later but I'll give tge benefit of the doubt this time that you're just really fucking stupid.

>Wrong.

No I am completely right and your example highlights it. If you made a homebrew game for the original PS1 today it would be considered retro under this board's rules. If you modified a PS1 into something else and made a game for whatever system that is then it would not be retro.

Remember that we talk about post 2000 games released for old platforms all tbe time here. The only time people get their panties in a twist is when it's a computer game but that's because this board has a strong bias towards consoles and many posters who get incensed when anything other than Mario or Sonic are brought up.

Again, this isn't a debate. The rules are simple and anyone who can actually read doesn't get confused by them.

Many early 2000's games are allowed here already. Though I still think rules should go by game release instead of system, people complaining about needing v2k are retard snowflakes.
