I have the MVSX, I quite like it.

>50 games out of the box compared to A1Up 3-12
>same price
>better construction
>softmoddable to play entire NG catalog, Genesis, other arcade games

I thought it was worth it.

Space and availability, mostly. Honestly I don't know enough about arcade cabinets to gauge what is good/bad, maintenance, etc. The MVSX is perfect for me because it just works out of the box. I'm a brainlet, evidently.
