I liked Rondo a lot, loved it even, but it has this little problem many CD based PC Engine games have had for me. There's a huge disconnect between the visual and musical feast with that terrible sound design. The SFX might as well not be there, the voice samples are comically muffled and even 8 bit consoles have crunchier, more satisfying regular SFX, they are super faint. Both Bloodlines and SCIV have much better audio feel in their own ways, and so did the NES games. Hell I've played a bunch of PC Engine games lately and yeah I found a couple favorites, awesome system, but even uber optimized games like Soldier Blade have the same kind of weak bleep bloops as SFX, they're really thin. Say, Sonic CD and all the Sega CD games I played did not have this problem either.

Why is this? What made the system do this, is it a CPU usage thing, because the thing has an 8 bit processor or something? Not that it makes the games bad or anything I'm just curious.

See this is not terrible, I hve no issue with this, whatever.

Thing is. It has nothing to do with nobody knowing what Link did in the present timeline. Link "losing his accomplishments" and all that wankery, that's the dumb thing I hate, because it's not even that true. If Link became a bitter to-be-teacher it must have stemmed from other things, th sages deciding to give him his childhood back had nothing to do with it.

>3x as many as majora
So, are you counting the Well, Ice Cave and Gerudo Fortress? Should we also count Majora's Pirate Fortress, the Gibdo well (admittedly, the absolute worst ""dungeon"" out of all these games), Ikana Castle (with its own music and boss) and the two Skulltula houses, the most non-linear dungeons in these two games, perhaps barring the Gerudo Training Grounds?

Not even sure if you are counting those ones or not, but I think if we do, this should make the ratio 2X at most.
