I agree with your points re corporate bullshit, but EA isn't relying on investors, it's still posting profits. And you're right, the company has had a downturn, but you could just as easily call that a correction after the massive boom from their huge lootbox related profits of the last few years. Pic related is their 20 year stock, and i don't look at that and see a company about to fail. I see a correlation between their post-2012 posted profits and their post-2012 stock price, which leads me to the obvious idea that investors care primarily about the company making profit (and growing).
