Just for fun I decided to take a look inside this Trip World cart I got off Aliexpress, to see if I could figure out what's going on inside.

Top left chip:

2MB of flash memory. Seems simple enough.

Bottom left chip:

128KB of ultra-low power SRAM, obviously powered by the big-ass CR2025 up there. 128KB seems excessive for the GB, but whatever.

No idea what could be under that glop-top though. My only guess is it's something that functions similarly to the MBC in official Game Boy carts.

In any case I doubt this shit costs more than $1 to produce. Fairly good quality though, aside from the jizz-like soldering.
