Post games that no one actually played back in the day but now have the misconception of having been popular due to zoomers parroting e-celebs

PS2 era is actuallly overrated. Weak hardware and clunky gimmick controller with button sensitivity that makes some games a bitch to play to this day. Said games are a sea of 70% and 60% shovelware. The overrated games people always pretend are masterpieces don't withstand the most superficial scrutiny

Really just for example; Silent Hill 3 has some of the worst gameplay and especially camera you will ever see in a game and absolutely no horror suspense. You just run around in copy-paste corridors and check 200 doors to see if they're locked or not, running away from slow dildo monsters. This isn't even breaking it down. This is the actual game

Everyone knows about SotC. Grotesquely overrated game whose FPS dips down to 12. The controls don't make any sense (three buttons dedicated to camera shit, need two buttons just to roll, can't use two different weapons or tools without stopping in your tracks first). The camera does what it wants and the physics feel awful. And all you do is run from boss to boss, most bosses starting to repeat themselves 20 minutes in and consisting of one puzzle, a puzzle which is either braindead or way too cryptic, and in both cases a voice will tell you what to do after a minute

You will actually feel trolled when giving these games a shot with the expectation of an actual masterpiece
