The Switch is starting to win me over more and more as a handheld emulator.
It's not the most portable thing but NDS runs almost perfectly here with better screens and buttons than a 3DS and enough screento have both DS screens on display and being legible.

Or you can get a vertical mount.

Hacking the NSO services to add games is also nice.
