here's a tip for anyone looking to get into the sharp x68000 on a budget. the original cz-600c model suffers from the nicd battery leaking on the 69mhz oscillator, which in turn kills the 31khz video mode that it boots into. the result is a black screen and no functionality. the oscillator is readily available on digikey. so what i'm saying is that if you buy a 'junk' cz-600c and put a $12 crystal oscillator in it, you can flip it for ten times what you paid. the best part is the power supplies in the ORIGINAL cz-600c model are rock solid reliable.
