Maybe I was overthinking it but this always bugged me

Not just the fact that there's a roasted turkey or ham hock in the walls of a decrepit old castle, but the fact that eating it doesn't make you sick but actually raises your health

How fucking long has it been there? What's the shelf life, like a thousand years? Who even left it there??

Also, every beat-em-up where you destroy a thrash can, find meat/apple inside, and you eat it, and it instantly heals bullet wounds/head trauma

So, in their universe, does getting hurt simply make you hungry instead of actually hurting you?

When you die, does that mean you starved to death?


At least a medkit makes a little bit of sense
