Very nice, it's magical innit? I think IPS mod + flash cart is a good game plan, maybe chuck in some rechargeable batteries in there too.

I had a NGPC back in the day, "mysterious and cool" is a perfect way to describe it. The microswitch thumbstick really is one of a kind, the ergonomics were great, and the visuals had such a unique flair to them. This is a really shitty way to describe it, but the active sprites were abnormally fluid for how low-res everything was, the backgrounds were abnormally detailed in contrast, and the colors were abnormally vibrant for an 8-bit machine.
