Are these threads off topic? That's arguable. Do these threads really pertain to vidya games? That's up for debate. But, see, none of that really matters here. The mods have apparently seen fit to not delete the thread. Considering that mods and janitors are effectively the only authority of what is or is not permitted on any particular 4chan board, it's up to them. You shitposting constantly it just shitting up the place. If it were against the rules, the thread would be deleted.

Am I saying these threads are good or bad? No. I'm saying it's not my place or yours to make that call and arguing, whining, and shitposting about it aren't fucking helping anything.
