The GBA was done by a dude off of eBay, I did mod the DMG myself (also that GBA SP is an AGS-101 that I reshelled). I saw that GBA and had to have it, the dude did a really good job on it, seems like he does it as a hobby. He had a parts list on the eBay listing, but unfortunately that listing was from 2022 and is no longer available. It wasn't just a single kit, he had a bunch of parts that he put together to make it. Anyway, I still think there is a value argument for the Pocket at its normal price if you are specifically interested in GB, GBC and GBA games. The sleep mode alone is a huge boon. Nintendo looked into doing that with the GBA SP but cheaped out to get it on the shelves quicker. Some might argue that the rechargeable battery is nice as well, but I honestly prefer AA's, so that's more of a drawback for me. That said, I won't have my Pocket until later today, so I'm speaking from the standpoint of "It sounds good on paper."

GB and GBC run on emulators if you are using a GBA flashcart. Not very good ones either. You really need both a GBA flashcart and a GBC flashcart if you're going to go through the trouble of original hardware. That's what I did, though I probably end up using my chinkhelds more often.

Just put together my custom DMG. It's redundant with my GBA, but I have a lot of nostalgia for the form factor of the original Game Boy. Also I really liked the shell when I saw it online and decided that now was the time. Annoyed that in the one second it took me to drop the screen lens into place two pieces of dust stuck to the lens, but I don't notice it unless I focus on it.
