if you only want real cartridges to show off or to sell one day, you don't actually want the game. I know the younger me wouldn't have cared if I had a repro or not so long as I had the game and was able to play it without issue. Who cares if it's official, I have an R4 for my DS lite and it's fine.

More or less. I used to just play Clockwork Knight and Nights a lot, same with Dark Saviour. Virtual On too, and my brother enjoyed playing Baku Baku with me so that was pretty fun. I'm thinking of just breaking down and buying a JP model so I can play imports, which is mostly what I'm into now anyway. I love that pretty white shell and normal sized jewel cases that don't fall apart easily.
