I'm shocked no one's tried to make better sprites. I've seen half-assed 3D models and sprites from years ago.

All you'd need to do is to make 3D models and take images of them from various angles. Keep them 2D, and make them for 640x480 resolution.

Doom64 had the right idea, just the execution and art style wasn't great. I do like that the sprites are bigger and more detailed.

If anyone ever wants to do a Pokemon take on Doom or anything to do with the demons "evolving", they could do something with later designs of the monsters, where some either change their gameplay (PE's shooting two lost souls at once for example) or you make up some shit about their visual aspects (Like, what if the imp gets his vision enhanced because he had more eyes in Doom 3)
Then you get the sub-species like the nightmare imps and Cyber Mancubus or do something with newer species, where you could connect to existing ones like some type of family tree (Tries > Arachnotrons, Bruiser > HK, Hellhounds > Zombiemen etc)
This was just some shit i was thinking about
