/vr/ - Retro Games

The world was the best they've come up with since FFIII IMO. Sort of dream-like, modern and futuristic at the same time. Really the last time I remember feeling truly immersed in a video game.

IX was retarded for its own reasons. For one thing I thought it was very bland in comparison to the other PS1 FFs, but y'know, diff'rent strokes. VIII's not without it's problems but it's kind of like the "final" Final Fantasy for me. Never really could get into them afterwards.

I really like the "Squall's dead" interpretation, probably because FF "died" for me after that game.
