I did a fuckton of research on Doom, Doom-related, and extraneous shit when it came to Doomguy in Samsara.
Death Battle got their information from a wiki and making things up on the spot.

Let's start with just a FEW inconsistencies, adhering to the whole "the battle animation doesn't determine anything" rule.

>lists him as a US Space Marine Captain (he's a UAC Sergeant)
>completely makes up a height/weight for him
>list pistol/chaingun as using 5mm rounds (it doesn't), lists it as ineffective against body armor (it isn't)
>lists mega-armor as merely plasma-resistant (it's EVERYTHING resistant)
>[The shotgun] holds 16 shells (wrong, 50/100) and fires seven pellets of shot, with a spreading range so ridiculous, he doesn't even have to aim! (yes he does)
>The BFG fires ENORMOUS rounds of Plasma. Upon impact, the resulting detonation releases across a wide, varying blast radius. (NO IT DOESN'T NO IT DOESN'T NO IT DOESN'T NO IT DOESN'T)
>The Unmaker's beams are so powerful because they actually feed off the demonic energy of the target. Which means that it's basically useless against anything that isn't from Hell. (IT FEEDS OFF HUMAN FUCKING SOULS, WHICH THE CHIEF HAS IN SURPLUS)

Once during an interview, someone (admittedly obnoxious) raised the possibility if someone pointed out a mistake in their research would they reconsider things?
