Are there any wads around that include shit blowing up and geometry changing? Like in Duke Nukem?

I'd like to do this myself for a level I'm making but want to see how others did it.

Just finished Duke Nukem then and I have to say, I love it's "blow shit up, new area revealed" mechanic.

How can you do this in UDMF? Considering it has so many damn features? It would be possible, how would you go about doing that?

I'm familiar with DoomBuilder myself, I'd love to try it out even as just a little tech demo for myself.
