>only need the Iron Boots like seven times in the Water Temple: For the boots to evoke so much scorn, it really shows how much people got filtered

>lore-wise, Stalchildren probably still exist in the future but respect adult Link too much
>missable dialogue in which Salia remarks that your ocarina sounds different (Link probably didn't just throw her ocarina away but lost it in the current)
>as someone who has faced his deepest fears is said to have been "in the belly of the beast", the first three dungeons involve entering the mouth of a big creature to prove your courage

>the Lake Hylia tree's scratches are probably just supposed to let you know that the tree is soft enough for your Hookshot and that there's a dungeon there (marked by Rauru)
