Why did this series never seem to get the recognition/praise at the time that King's Quest, Space Quest, or the Lucasarts adventure games? I remember reading PC gaming magazines way back in the day and all the adventure talk was about KQ or Monkey Island, but never QfG.

Anyone else feel like QfG was a thousand times better? I'm replaying 1-4 and holy shit they are amazing. I forgot all the puzzles from when I was a kid and it's great.
