>It could feel nice when someone brings you a TV to repair, but unfortunately it's a godforsaken LCD TV UE46C6820US.
>They managed to rip off the special Samsung "S-RGB in" connector needed for the SCART adapter and the pads on the board are undamaged, i think i can solder that piece of 0.5mm pitched garbage back.
And i done it at Wednesday.
I made a comparison between my KV-C2521D from about 1991 and this UE46C6820US from about 2010.
With U-four-ia on my PAL NES, obviously composite and i didn't bothered to adjust the contrast and brightness on the LED TV because it was already set to 'natural'.
And I calibrated my Trinitron to look natural, so should be a fair test in my opinion.

Damn, this is what i call an improvement in name of technological evolution:
>Black level is much worse.
>The lag is terrifying, with about 80ms*. (impossible to enjoy any kind of game)
>Even the sound lags, which causes a echo when both output audio.
>SCART goes into a proprietary adapter, with an socket that can break of easily .
>Interference is more apparent.
>Even more ugly artifacts and a always enabled sharping filter.
>Deinterlaces non-interlaced signals (240p60, 288p50), it tries to pull down but when it scrolls then it fails miserably.
>Failed to work with that cheap ass RCA+S-Video to SCART adapter, i had to swap it. Trinitron works fine with it.
Yeah, i see why this hot thing beats every CRT in this world.

*U-four-ia draws a new letter each 2nd field, 2 letters behind is about 2*2*20ms=80ms of lag.
