hyperkin makes a $30 nintendo hdmi adapter
people rightfully slam hyperkin for being chinese garbage, but some of their stuff is serviceable (turbografx controller, n64 controller, sega cd hdmi, etc)

latency is acceptable, especially considering the price.

next cheapest would be something like the retrotink 2x pro - i have this one but only recommend it for those with obsessive personality types.
i basically only use it for xbox and some 240p systems


another viable alternative (with arguably better ps2 support) would be something like the latest OSSC with interlacing support at 480

GBS-C or retrotink 5x ect also all exist but if you're only going to use it for one or two systems its kind of ridiculous to overspend
