Oh also I forgot to add here (>>5417802): If want to use it for your own map but you don't like where it's positioned or want to paste it into a bigger map, there's an option for that - one HotA dev gave me the instructions on how to copy/paste parts of the map here:

It's possible. You need to patch Hota editor first

The patch: https://www.dropbox.com/s/3qvlqzzlauga9wu/gf_me_patch.dll?dl=0

Now put it into the same folder as map editor exe, create a desktop shortcut, right click on it, in the line "object " add

/p:gf_me_patch.dll

so you get
"C:\Games\Heroes of Might and Magic III\h3hota_maped.exe" /p:gf_me_patch.dll
or whatever address it is to your hota folder.

Now launch the shortcut and follow red arrows on screenshot - should be self-explanatory. The only catch is: you should not close the editor. So
1) open map with stuff you want to copy
2) copy it
3) open aother map \ create new
4) paste
You can't work with 2 maps at the same time sadly.
