I think it's still available in romhackingnet, isn't it?
To be fair, while it sort of lets you go through the game, it's a rather shoddy translation and overall shoddy work. When I replay the Gokuuden games, I play them in japanese.

DBZ Super Gokuu-den 1 and 2.
It's mostly a way to relive the story of the manga with interactive choices and relaxed command-based RPGish battles.
Dat music though

The game isn't shitty, it isn't GOAT either but it's a nice RPG that follows the DBZ adventures. The card system makes it somewhat original or different from usual menu based combat and also the things >>3613258 mentioned.
It's a game for DBZ fans, but it does its job.
Another interesting DBZ game for SNES is Super Goku-den. A mix of interactive story/quiz and RPG combats. You can also alter some things from the original story, etc.
The fighting games are still the best ones (especially Super Butoden 2 and Hyper Dimension), but I like both SSD and Super Goku-den as well as the Famicom RPGs that are like SSD.

As for the PS1 game, I hope you're not referring to >>3614281 or Ultimate battle 22, those were some of the worst DB games ever made.
DBZ Legends is pretty interesting, I loved it as a kid.

The combat system is kind of a rock-paper-scissor thing, you can customize and upgrade your powers along the way.

Here's a simple guide to the basics

The battle system is simple but can be hard to get around if you don't know how it works. Basically it's like a rock paper scissor game (with more options), so you need to memorize which attack is better than the one your opponent will do. For the most part you can spam Kame Hame Ha and win though.

There are english translations by fans by now, I think they're complete for the most part although they're not professional, so it should be easier to play (also on the quiz parts)
