Its not an speed issue. What both of us are refering to leads to positioning in combat barely mattering at all because its so easy for both the player and the monsters to bum rush or run around willy nilly and still have ample AP to land some shots or attacks. Compare that to Fallout which didnt have that stellar combat to begin with.

There were far too few tech enemies as well as enemies who were dedicated wizards. Its pretty absurd when there are antimagic schools and gear and then literarly nobody to use it on. Not even the final boss since he doenst function like that.
Also Thanatos was hilarious. "THE ISLAND OF BEASTS!", mostly populated by angry chimps.
