The GBA is NOT RETRO. What's so hard to understand? The only retro hardware is whatever came out before 1999, this is a very important year and the only thing that matters. Hardware capability and graphics have nothing to do with it. What games you played as a kid is irrelevant. The ONLY thing that matters is 1999. You have to draw the line somewhere, and it makes perfect sense to draw it here because the sorts of games that came out after 1999 are fundamentally different than the ones that preceded it. Really, 1999 is the year that separates retro from contemporary gaming.
