Just got a trinitron, does anyone know what this icon means?

Also, I have my GameCube plugged in to it via an RGB switcher. (Not retro I know, but i need to know)

The console seems to get power from the RGB cable. I take the plug lead out and the front light is turned on, but it doesn't turn on when I press the power. What's up with that? I can post a picture if you like.
