NTA but that 1st "fight" where you have to catch up to the train was quite a pain and it's a part I do dread every time I replay Enter Electro. I still love it and, in some ways, like it better than the OG, it has it's strong points and charm, but there are so many parts which are just downright annoying as you keep trying and failing, and it feels like there just needs to be some luck involved for it to end.

I still love it anyways, the dark atmosphere, that OST, the graphics and artstyle it goes for, how it focused a lot more on stealth, all of the suits its got... there's just a lot to adore in Enter Electro.

Adding to this, when Vicarious Visions, who made Spider-Man on GBC, came back to do the sequel to Torus Games' Spider-Man 2: The Sinister Six, on GBA, instead of just doing what Torus Games did, but on stronger hardware, they essentially went for a mix between both titles, taking what worked in BOTH of them and polishing some of the concepts they attempted in the original, so it was actually GOOD this time... it worked! It's no longer a FULL MetroidVania, there's a level map, so there's not a single order, and you can unlock new skills to explore earlier levels to get stuff...

It's a MetroidVania, like the OG, but with levels, like its sequel, Mysterio's Menace is just superb.

What really sucks about it is that they actually did well in the graphics and control departments, also the OST was a banger... if ONLY they had the decency to give players proper checkpoints and unlimited continues, then it could've even been fondly remembered as a good video game... but NOOO, we can't have that, it needs to take you back to the title screen every few minutes...

FUCK LJN.
