I highly doubt this would happen, even buying arcade hardware from other companies could cost them a lot, let alone developing arcade hardware of their own. Capcom, Konami (not the greatest at fightans, I know) and Midway were veterans of arcade game development, so it was much easier for them to push their games to both home market and the coin-ops.

YES! That guy, I forgot his Twitter handle, but I remember stumbling on his account several moths ago and I was convinced these are works by The Man himself, not a fan of his. The eyes and general lineart look like a carbon copy of Kimura's style.

The same control scheme as in PC-98 games. While I could understand that on NEC's platform oi me amiger has the same problem, but they shouldn't have any excuse to not enable custom key mapping on an IBM PC compatible. Anon, you could drop an IPS patch while we're at it, it would be very appreciated. Here's more Yuka, by the way.

I know Yuka didn't originate on PS1, she's more of a PC-98 lady, but her best games were on the Sony's console.

Based V.G. bro. Who do you main? I nearly always choose Yuka, Tamao or Kaori. My least favorties are Elirin, Kyoko (their moveset and combos seem hard to master for me) and Manami not only she's the weakest, but I also hate catgirls and in fact she's my regular punching bag in Practice Mode.

Yeah, I saw videos of people performing ludicrous infinites with Kaori and Kyoko. An advanced (no pun) player can push their opponent to the edge of the screen and whack them until they're done for. Some characters (Jun, especially) have very powerful, sometimes annoying OTGs.

Heheh, this reminds me of one time when my brother visited my place and saw me playing this game. I thought he'd bitch that the game is a bishoujo fighter, but much to my surprise he sat down in front of the TV and wanted me to play against him. At first I was destroying him effortlessly, but then he figured out the mechanics and cheesed with Reimi's low kick and Hurricane Rose. Yeah, I know there are ways to defeat that character, but I'm not really good at fighters, in fact, A.V.G. 2 is the first fighting game I've ever played for longer than 5 minutes.

Yeah, the first one is just... kinda average? It's not as fluid and I can't perform combos as easily as in the second game. Plus the opponent AI in single player is awfully cheap.
