In that case I'll re-suggest the 35XX for the sake of GarlicOS, it's designed around pick up and put down. You can save your game and turn the system off with a single input, and when you turn it back on (which only takes a few seconds) you'll be right back to where you were. And it's just about the size of a GBC so great for pocketability.
