Having one myself, it's too harsh for 240p.
They are also too expensive unless you got yours a long time ago.
They aren't bad, but they're a ridiculous waste of money when better cheaper options exist that don't have the sony plate on them.
It also cannot do 24khz, if you like arcade boards.

People treat the 20L5 (and maybe 14L5) like some kind of holy grail, but in reality they're just decent multiscan monitors at a middling size.
Presentation monitors like what >>5875712 talks about are bigger, support similar scan rate ranges, and some even will do 24khz. 20" is an awkward "middling" size between small-ish desk screens (like 14" monitors) and the big ones you can sit far away from.

He's right, though. There's no reason to use SCART if you don't live in europe.

I'm afraid my monitor might be too heavy for this desk.
I hate using HDR because it gives shite image quality but my overhead lights are super high output and they drown out the monitor if they're on.
