Anyway, another cool 3D fighting game on N64: Super Robot Spirits (spinoff of Super Robot Wars)

Anyway, if we go by traditional/Street Fighter-likes only, there weren't much since Capcom or SNK didn't port any of their well known series to the N64.
I'd say Killer Instinct Gold would be the best.
Rakuga Kids by Konami is actually also a good game that plays a lot like the Marvel VS Capcom games. The amount of frame animations per character on that game is also insane.
For 3D fighters, nothing that matches Virtua Fighter 2, but the SD mode in Flying Dragon is unique and pretty good.
I also like Super Robot Spirits, mostly because I'm a SRW fan. Sad that there weren't sequels to SRS.

Yeah, it is infuriating when people only know the most mainstream games, but it happens in every system.
