I record footage with Fraps or Open Broadcast Software, then use Webm for Bakas to convert it. Keep adjusting the bitrate until your file is just under 3MB: an average of 800kbps will work if it's 30 seconds long, halve that if your video's 1 minute and double it if it's 15 seconds, and so on. Also, use emulators that can slow down the emulation speed, so you can speed it up later and look more competent than you actually are. SNES9X can do it, as well as a multi-system emulator called Bizhawk.
