Depends on your view of "modern game". I'd agree with Supplice playing very much like a "modern and modded megawad" and is otherwise old Doom-styled gameplay, less like what I'd expect out of a modern shooter. That Spelaco game looks like it's going to follow more modern FPS conventions, I'm hoping linear gameplay isn't one of them.
