Somewhat off-topic, but, what ever happened to Megaman VR?

I know the devs abandoned /vr/ after the Robot Masters were decided upon, but I heard from them like a handful of times for the next few months and then never again. Did it die completely?

>tfw Megaman VR in its early stages made me curious to try the Classic series and it ended up being my favorite franchise, but by the time I finished the devs all left

On topic, 6 is my favorite just because I love the way the Robot Masters are themed.
