IIRC that's not actually Carmack but an intern who was working at id that happened to look a hell of a lot like him.

UAC logos show up on a number of skins (I think Crash has what's supposed to be one on her left tiddy but it's too small [the logo, not the tit] to be properly detailed), the bloody face in the Ranger team skins is actually that of a Q1 Grunt, not one of Ranger's face pics (you can tell from the details like the gap teeth- Grunts have a nearly identical model to Ranger himself so the texture is almost a direct copy paste), and you missed the most obvious Doom reference of all, that being the graphic on Anarki's hoverboard.
