>you can get retro games for cheaper if you order them from Japan
Japanese sellers caught on and prices have gone up over the years. It's 2023, you can't get Rockman & Forte for $5 anymore. You can't get all of the Kirby games (including Kira Kira Kids) for $20 anymore. You can't get CIB copies of Pokemon for $5 anymore.

The vast majority of games are in the same price range as their English counterparts or are only marginally cheaper (to the point where you might as well just get it in English).

And importing RPGs is retarded because you would have to study to language to a high level to even be able to play them (even Game Boy games that lack kanji aren't comprehensible for beginners and many are just white-noising their way through games they've already played in English).

There's no point anymore. It used to be the cheaper way to play games on physical consoles 10 years ago, but today it's expensive. It would be better to just buy a flash cart, a mister, or some sort of emulation-based handheld. The jig is up.

Anyone who disagrees is obviously a gaijin reseller.
