Kurenai is a fire spirit unique to Facinaturu, it was also supposed to connect Facinaturu to Mosperiburg in a discarded part of Asellus storyline but there's nothing more than that about it. It's just there.

The problem with Unlimited is that it's amazingly complex, literally everything you do has atrocious importance in your progression, it requires long term planning and a mind of steel for certain things, it's absolutely brutal and what little info you can get from sources like the manual ends up being exactly what you don't have to do in the game.

Being even more abstract and tabletop like obviously alienates a SaGa player, most other jrpg players can't even understand what the fuck is going on and dismiss it as crap.

It's actually one of the most complex, satisfying and interesting jrpg system of all time, a shame most are scared off by its complexity.
