Hold on, I take that back. They sort of referenced the DS version because they added the exclusive monsters, although they were unused in the Famicom version and supposedly cut very late. I know for a fact I saw the Sea Dragon at least, now in its DS colors. I imagine the stats are more like it was supposed to be.
