the problem with this theory is the hate sephiroth harbors for cloud, his "killer". he really get out of his way to psychologically torture and spite cloud. seph's acts are a very personal vendetta that I don't think jenova would really give two fucks about, were she/it the real puppetmaster.

the real will behind the mother/son duo is sephiroth, I believe. maybe corrupted and led to total insanity by jenova's influence , but still the dominant personality
